Another busy week for FoodAWARE CIC, once again helping the community and the various groups/projects with vital food and supplies.

Sending Condolences to the JP Walton & Sons Family

Kristian Walton supporting FoodAWARE CIC with Easter Egg donation. This week we had the tragic news that a friend and long time supporter of the community, Kristian Walton had sadly passed away.

JP Walton & Sons are always there whenever we have needed them and the team are always willing to help in any way they can.

Kristian was a huge part of this and was always at the forefront in anything he could do to help the community.

A fine example of this is in the image attached, every year JP Walton & Sons would always match any donation of Easter eggs we received, regardless of how many.

Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

Thank you for all of your support over the years.

These fab donations have been passed on to our community partner Mexborough Foodbank who support people/families less fortunate across Mexborough, Denaby, Conisbrough & Swinton areas.

Sean Gibbons, Managing Director of Food AWARE CIC & Mexborough Foodbank Manager said “I would like to pay special thanks to Ivanhoe Academy students, parents/carers and staff for such a generous Harvest Festival donation this year (and for almost 10 years of ongoing support).
