Another busy week supporting the local community of South Yorkshire.

Food Aware CIC Community Kitchen

Food Aware CIC Community Kitchen supporting the local communityA very cold and wet night at Food Aware CIC community kitchen saw over 40 people fed that wouldn’t have had a hot meal tonight without our ongoing dedication and support.

Huge thank you to Richard Laver and Florence for their continued donations, along with Andrew Kerrison, Boultons Family Butchers, Greggs, and the brilliant volunteers who despite the cold wet weather all turned out to make sure that everyone had what was needed.

YWT Potteric Carr Nature Reserve

Mel Howram FoodAWARE CIC Supporting YWT Potteric Carr Nature ReserveIt was our pleasure to deliver this donation of supplies to supplement the education and engagement sessions at YWT Potteric Carr Nature Reserve, delivered by Mel at Food Aware CIC!

Mel attends the home education sessions with her son and asked if they could help with anything. As you can see, we delivered a van load of stuff ranging from UHT milk to jam and hand sanitizer!

Big thank you from all of us here at FoodAWARE CIC to the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Potteric Carr NR for all the work they do.

The Clothing Bank

The Clothing Bank supporting FoodAWARE CICHuge thanks to the team at The Clothing Bank who helped us with two emergency cases this week.

A young man who was assisted by Sue from Maltby Foodbank and a family in crisis assisted by Katie and a local team in Doncaster of well-wishers with clothing, shoes Toys, and treats.

It is always a pleasure to work seamlessly together to ensure that those in crisis have everything they need as quickly as possible.

Together we are stronger.
