Another busy week for our team once again, picking up and delivering surplus food to the various wonderful support centres throughout the area.

FoodAWARE collecting surplus food from Frankie and Bennys in BarnsleyThe week started by collecting surplus food from Frankie & Bennys in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

This was redistributed to our increasing number of projects supporting those less fortunate across local deprived communities.

At the start of the week, we were also able to help Communi-Tea-Cafe with a food donation 

FoodAWARE continue to support Rotherham Street KitchenWe also added our support to the wonderful Rotherham Street Kitchen which is now on week 5 since re-opening. If you wish to donate towards this amazing cause then please contact them via their Facebook page linked earlier.

Thanks to Allan Ogle for visiting our Hellaby base in Rotherham, South Yorkshire to meet our hard-working team & some of the many projects we support each week with surplus food & supplies.

Huge thanks for the latest donation of nappies he dropped off (following the 6 pallets we received a few months ago!) which have been very welcomed by our community projects supporting disadvantaged families across Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley

Also, a special thanks for funding support via Hallam FM Cash for Kids both via Food AWARE and more recently via Mexborough Foodbank helping us to support, even more, less fortunate families during these troubled and challenging times.

FoodAWARE continue to support Caring for KendrayWe once again were able to offer our continued support to Caring for Kendray allowing the volunteers to deliver much-needed supplies to the people who require it throughout that region.

FoodAWARE and JP Walton and Sons collecting surplus food from Lidl to support our projects throughout South YorkshireAgain, big thanks Lidl GB RDC in Doncaster for another fab donation of surplus food last week.

Ten pallets were delivered into our Hellaby base in Rotherham mostly now already redistributed to our various projects throughout South Yorkshire supporting vulnerable in communities.

It is also an absolute pleasure to be partnering with The Hygiene Bank Doncaster and all of their local community projects supporting those less fortunate.

Amongst our deliveries this week we also were able to donate much-needed food and supplies to Doncaster Street Hub and Swinton Lock Activity Centre.
