A cold week this week due to an artic blast with the weather but our team did the best we could under the trying circumstances.

Doncaster Street Hub

Doncaster Street Hub were joined by 50 of their friends for Bolognese, pasta and garlic bread with cheese, everyone also took away a goody bag containing a sandwich, a sausage roll/pasty, crisps, cakes and chocolates, a sweet/pastry and a drink.

It was a very cold one last night and they gave out over 20 warm coats and some jumpers and sweatshirts. They still need winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, socks and warm footwear and trainers.

Donna Fielding of Doncaster Street Hub said the following

“Thank you to the team at Food Aware CIC for your great donations this week (and every week!!), you are an amazing team of volunteers, thanks for everything that you provided for the guys”

It is our pleasure to continue our support to Doncaster Street Hub.

Their volunteers braved the snow to get ready for their Wednesday Food Bank. Making sure their service users and elderly and vulnerable are fed.

Big thank you to Morrisons at Armthorpe and customers for donating lots of lovely food items. Such caring, hardworking and supportive volunteers.
