Once more our FoodAWARE team continues to be busy helping the local community as and where possible.

The Real Junk Food Project

Real Junk Food Project supporting FoodAWARE CICHuge thanks to our community partners at The Real Junk Food Project who has delivered more food provision to us this week.
We are experiencing another peak in need for our local communities, this food is vital in our work to make sure those in crisis have access to the food they need.

As always we remain committed to the interception of surplus food for redistribution to those who need it, just like our colleagues at TRJFP.

As always it’s a pleasure to work together for our common goals.

Wellies Request From a Local School

Donna Fielding - Clothes Bank - Ken Wyatt - helping support FoodAWARE CIC donate wellies local school doncasterWe have had wellies everywhere at Food Aware this week, as we jumped to action on a request for help.

The lovely children of a local school needed wellies so they can use their new wildlife area, so along with our community partners at The Clothing Bank, Donna Fielding Ken Wyatt, and the many many generous members of the public in Hemingbrough and local villages of Doncaster, we have been able to supply over 50 pairs of wellies both new and pre-loved this last Wednesday, with more to follow next week.

Huge thanks to everyone who has been involved in this effort, together we are stronger and together we can make sure that everyone has everything they need.

You are all wonderful.
