On 1st February 2013, we launched our first ‘official’ Foodbank at The Place Community Enterprise Centre in Conisbrough – ‘Doncaster West Foodbank’ in partnership with Community Spirit. This was in response to growing need in our local deprived communities as vulnerable people and families struggle to make ends meet and food poverty increases further.
On 15th February, we launched ‘Intake Foodbank’ at the Intake Wellness Centre on Montrose Avenue in partnership with the great people at PFG Doncaster – http://www.pfgdoncaster.co.uk/
On 1st March, we launched ‘Balby Bridge Foodbank’ at St James’ Church on St Sepulchre Gate West in partnership with Rev Alan Murray and his dedicated team – http://www.theinterchange.org.uk/website/
