Another busy month for everyone at FoodAWARE HQ.

Helping Hands Community Centre

This month the guys over at Helping Hands Community Centre picked up an abundance of grapes and fresh mince (forgot to take a pic) from us over at Food Aware CIC

All these went out to over 30 different households in our community.

Little things like this help take the weight of a struggling family. This is why the work we do as organisations at Helping Hands Community Centre and FoodAWARE CIC, supporting each other is vital to running our services.

Huge thanks to Lidl GB Doncaster RDC colleagues for visiting us today & presenting a cheque for £250 towards our Cost-of-Living Crisis fund.

In addition, we are delighted to have received a further £5,000 from the Lidl Community Fund via our friends/partners at Neighbourly.

This follows the circa £250,000 worth of surplus stock Lidl have donated to us since May 2019 to support our many community projects across South Yorkshire.

And much more to follow!

Pioneer Social Enterprise

Another fab collection this week of surplus & funded food from our community partners at Food Aware CIC at their Hellaby warehouse!

Huge thanks to Doncaster Council Well Doncaster Household Support Fund for latest grant we have recently received to help us support those in need in our local area through the Cost-of-Living Crisis and an anticipated very challenging winter period.

Conisbrough Ivanhoe Primary Academy

Look at this fantastic Harvest Festival donation collected by our long-term friends & supporters of 10+ years at Conisbrough Ivanhoe Primary Academy earlier this week!

A lot of this donated food went out in food parcels via our community partner Mexborough Foodbank earlier today to families in Mexborough, Denaby & Conisbrough.
It was also fab for Headteacher Joe Brian & our MD Sean Lord Gibbons to talk with Toby Foster on BBC Radio Sheffield this morning following fab #HarvestFestival donation & our partnership plans for the future!
