Great evening at the Food Aware CIC community kitchen thank you to Rotherham embroidery for the donations and also for supplying our hi viz Polo shirts and hoodies.Many thanks to our team gayle,Andy,Amy,Ella,Richard,Lawrence,mina and chris for making hot food and serving drinks and checking food temps.

Mexborough Foodbank
Our team of volunteers continue to provide around 20-25 food parcel each week distributed across Mexborough, Denaby & Conisbrough as demand continues during #CostOfLivingCrisis.Most of these were delivered by our volunteer drivers & a small number dropped off next door at Mexborough Family Hub
Huge thanks to all our hardworking volunteers – Alan, Ian, Chaz, Gail, Jean, Shelley, Matt & Bev and Steve from New Church who work so hard each week helping people less fortunate.
We are hugely honoured to be currently supported for a few weeks by the fantastic Love Mexborough ‘Tennessee Takeover’ with three fab ladies – Emily, Evelyn & Helen assisting our team making up food parcels each Friday!
Just a reminder that all food parcels provided come via community partner referrals from – Doncaster Council St Leger Homes Doncaster Mexborough Family Hub Wrap Around Supporting People Denaby & Conisbrough Family Hub Citizens Advice Doncaster Borough Communities South Be Well Doncaster Community First Credit Union Ltd Department for Work and Pensions – DWP local schools, GPs etc.
We DO NOT accept self referrals and food parcels are only provided via email referrals received from community partners above.Thank you to Martin & Amanda from Paws 4 a Break for continues donation of slightly past ‘best before’ doggy treats which are ideal to accompany food parcels to help feed family pet members.

2024 continues to be a very challenging year for so many local people/families so thank you for supporting us.
Let’s hope that matters improve for those most vulnerable in the near future now that we have a new government in place.

Supporting Mexborough by the Sea
A huge pleasure for us to support the fantastic ‘Mexborough By The Sea’ event last Saturday organised by the fab team of volunteers – Mexborough Events Committee Inclusive (MECI)!We were delighted to donate the funds required in order to provide a fabulous FREE Sandpit in the town centre for all the local children to enjoy at the event!
This donation came from our ‘Kindness Fund’ which supports local community/charitable initiatives/events at the discretion of our MD Sean Lord Gibbons.
Well done to everyone involved in organised and delivering this event which was enjoyed by lots of local children/families.
Special thanks to James Taylor Tuby & Chelsea Tuby of Tubys funfairs who kindly organised the delivery & removal of the sand for the event…all six tonnes of it!
