As the New Year continues to progress, our team once again faced another busy month.

Welcoming An Old Friend

A huge pleasure to welcome an old friend and avid supporter to Food AWARE HQ today!

Jude helped us tremendously back in 2011/12 to secure a The National Lottery Community Fund ‘Local Food’ grant where we successfully delivered a ‘HYPER project’ (Helping Yorkshire People Eat Responsibility) between 2012/14.

We supported hundreds of people across South Yorkshire and beyond with some cracking ‘Local Food’ projects such as food redistribution, ‘field to fork’ horticultural activities, community cafe, cook & eat, market stall etc etc.

We’ve moved on somewhat as a not-for-profit organisation since then but many of the above foodie projects are still very much needed and still being delivered across local communities in these extremely challenging times.

More exciting grassroots community projects to follow!
