In attendance this year was Tommy Joyce MBE. Tommy is well known for winning a boxing Commonwealth Games Bronze Medal in 1970. He is also well known for raising over £200.000 for charity after running twenty marathons in twenty days. Tommy has raised over £500,000 for local charities over the years which is a fantastic achievement!

Tommy is seen with staff members and clients of the Addison Day Centre and staff members of the ‘FOOD CO-OP ‘ ‘FOOD AWARENESS’ stall operated by Food AWARE CIC in partnership with Ad-Pro Rotherham.

Tommy is seen third on the left and is accompanied by Maltby Town Councillor Keith Stringer second left along with our ‘Local Food Hero’ Mark Dockerty first left.

It was a fab day which raised over £1,000 which will be used to create more health & wellbeing activities for Addison Road service-users. Food AWARE also donated a load of surplus fruit which the service-users made into fruit baskets and sold on the day!
